I Am Your Beast is a brutal and fast paced revenge thriller FPS where a retired covert agent doesn’t take kindly to being told what to do by his former bosses. In I Am Your Beast you are a former agent of the Covert Operations Initiative who has been retired for the last six years and has a peaceful life off the grid. However, your former bosses need you for a job and they’re not taking no for an answer – so much so that they’re sending in large teams of soldiers to violently coax you out of retirement. This isn’t going to end well for them! The high speed run and gun gameplay of I Am Your Beast is a little similar to Anger Foot, but with less of a focus on kicking and more of a focus on verticality and tactics. The levels are short, but have plenty of replayability as you aim for S Rank ratings and complete bonus objectives within them. Each level is then punctuated by a very well voiced kinetic typography cutscene, that really immerses you in the story. It’s a fantastic FPS with tons of style, satisfying combat, well crafted levels and an engaging story. It’s like if Rambo played Anger Foot. Highly recommended.

Among The Wild is an incredibly wholesome looking first person farming game where you wrangle adorable little creatures and set them to work in your farm. In Among The Wild you’ll manage your farm and tend to crops as you would in any farming game, but the big difference here is the myriad of fantastical creatures that inhabit the world. You will wrangle, take care of and hang out with the creatures. You’ll get to know their traits and use them to help your farm thrive. You’ll also be able to explore the world, gather resources, fend off threats, complete quests and learn about the world. The creatures you collect can also evolve into new creatures and if you have a few too many of them hanging about the farm you can trade them for profit. You are kinda exploiting the adorable little things, but they don’t seem to mind!

Last Moon is a beautifully animated top-down action RPG that draws inspiration from 90’s classics as a Lunar Knight sets out to bring harmony back to the world. In Last Moon you are a Lunar Knight who awakens/hatches from a crystal and sets out to save the moon and the world. The world has fallen into chaos after human greed triggered the destruction of the moon. It’s up to you to stop it. You’ll make your way through a ruined world filled with corrupt creatures, where you’ll solve puzzles, fight monsters, rescue NPCs to bring back to the home village, upgrade abilities and battle powerful bosses. The Last Moon demo features a fairly short (20 minute) main campaign, but then afterwards it allows you to explore a much larger “experimental” in-development part of the world. The artwork and animation look fantastic and the gameplay feels like a cozy return to 90’s classics like Zelda and Secret of Mana. There are a nice amount of puzzles and secrets, and you can even summon another player to join you for a bit of co-op action. It’s shaping up to be a fantastic love-letter to classic action RPG adventures.
